These Terms govern your use of Next Stop at nextstop.homes (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What Next Stop is

Next Stop is a search tool that aggregates housing listings posted by other people in public NYC-area WhatsApp and Facebook groups, then de-duplicates and structures them so they’re easier to browse. Next Stop is not a real-estate broker, agent, landlord, or party to any rental.We don’t own, manage, or endorse any listing, and we don’t participate in any transaction between you and a poster or landlord.

Listings are third-party content — verify before you pay

Listings come from third parties and may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or fraudulent. We do not verify listings, posters, prices, availability, or the identity of anyone you contact through information shown on the Service. Never send a deposit, rent, or any money before independently verifying the listing, the person, and the property in person. You are solely responsible for your own due diligence and for any dealings you enter into.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for your own personal housing search.
• Don’t scrape, resell, or bulk-export listings or data, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Don’t use contact information from listings to harass, spam, defraud, or send unsolicited marketing.
• Don’t use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Your account

You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information when signing up. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Next Stop name, design, and software are ours. Listing content belongs to its respective authors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Next Stop and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a listing, your dealings with any poster or landlord, or any transaction — including fraud or misrepresentation by third parties.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
